Kitchen Cabinet Painting in Baton Rouge, LA
In this project we took in our hands this beautiful kitchen cabinet repaint. We started by de-assembling the cabinets ( removing doors, drawers and hardware ), then we started to cover the whole entire kitchen and laundry area to start the prepping process. We had to cover everything that was not going to get painted which was ( floors, ceilings, walls, countertops, appliances, etc. ), after everything was de assembled we proceeded to start priming with a shellac primer. Being that the cabinets were stained previously, we had to prime them with either shellac or oil based primer. After everything was primed, including doors and drawers ( both inside and outside ) we then started sanding, caulking and puttying for the top coat. The too coat was applied on the 4th day, the paint and color were Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane in Clary Sage with a Semi-Gloss finish. The client was really happy.
